The Lytton First Nation’s Economic Development Department is funded by the Department of Indian & Northern Affairs Canada.

An annual Community Economic Development Operational Plan has to be submitted prior to the end of each fiscal year for review and approval by the Department of Indian & Northern Affairs Canada before funding is released to the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 Prepare annual CEDOP each fiscal year.
 Proposal development
 Prepare budgets & reports for special projects.
 Project management
 Attend committee meetings
 Work with the Lytton First Nation Administration for project planning.
 Work on Forestry initiatives for the Lytton First Nation.
 Work with the Forest licensees and Ministry of Forests.
